Vegan Crab Cakes

Crispy, but moist Vegan Crab Cakes that are perfect as a main dish, appetizer or on a sandwich! They are the perfect texture and the flavor sends bursts of satisfaction in your mouth that is sure to please the family!

Instructions
  1. Place half of oil in a saucepan and add your onions and celery. Sauté until translucent, then add your bell peppers.

  2. While the vegetables are being sautéed, mash your chickpeas and hearts of palm in a large bowl.

  3. After your vegetables have cooked until slightly caramelized, add them to the large chickpea and hearts of palm mixture. Combine your seasonings, mayo, juice and finely ground breadcrumbs; mix until well combined.

  4. Shape each patty and coat with Panko breadcrumbs, then place on a pan lined with parchment paper.

  5. In the same pan that you cooked the vegetables, add the remaining oil and cook each side until a caramelized brown; approximately 4-5 minutes on each side.

  6. Serve with a lemon and aioli sauce.

Easy Vegetarian Deep Dish Pizza

  1. Measure out the seasonings and mix into a bowl/dish; set to the side. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Put Olive Oil into a skillet, add onion and bell peppers. Cook the vegetables until softened; approximately 5 minutes.
  3. Add all of the spinach and cook until wilted. Add half of the seasonings, then remove the vegetables from the skillet after cooking the seasoning for flavor.
  4. Add the sausage to the skillet, cook until done, then add the rest of the seasonings.
  5. Place the dough inside of the springform pan and press against the sides of the pan. Ensure that the dough sticks to the sides of the pan prior to layering ingredients.
  6. For the first layer, add a third of the tomato sauce, the cheese blend, the tomatoes, the vegetable blend and the sausage. For the second layer, add a layer of tomato sauce, cheese blend and more sausage. For the last/top layer, add the remaining tomato sauce, the cheese blend, tomatoes, the vegetable blend and the sausage.
  7. Place the springform pan into oven and cook for approximately 20-30 minutes. The cook time will depend on your oven type.
  8. Allow pie to cool for 5 minutes, then remove the outer rim and base for serving. Enjoy!

  1. Pre-heat over to 375. Boil your water and place noodles in the boiling water. Cook noodles according to package or until done.
  2. Sauté the meat with half of the oil for approximately 5-8 minutes ensuring that it is not overcooked, then place the meat into a bowl.
  3. Slice the mushrooms to your desired thickness, if not pre-sliced. Sauté the mushrooms, in the remaining amount of oil, for approximately 5 minutes.
  4. Mix the tomato paste with the meat that was placed in a separate bowl.
  5. In a ceramic rectangular dish, approximately 16 x 9 x 4, place three lasagna noodles and half of the meat mixture. Place the treeline cheese and add another layer of noodles.
  6. Add another layer of noodles, mushrooms, half of the tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese. Layer the last three noodles, the rest of the meat paste mixture, the remaining tomato sauce and the mozzarella cheese, then wrap with aluminum foil.
  7. Place in the oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven and immediately serve.

  1. 1. Place your coconut oil in a medium sauce pan on medium-high heat. Allow the oil to heat up and add your carrots, red onions and garlic to the sauce pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sauté the vegetables and garlic, until they are translucent.
  2. 2. Drain the vegetables and garlic and place into a medium sized bowl.
  3. 3. Open and drain the can of black beans, place into a separate bowl and mash with a fork, until to your desired consistency.
  4. 4. Transfer the black beans into the medium sized bowl with the vegetables and garlic, then add the remaining ingredients.
  5. 5. Grab about the size of your palm and roll into a ball, then flatten into a patty.
  6. 6. Place each patty onto a baking sheet aligned with aluminum foil and place into the freezer for 30 minutes to allow to set.
  7. 7. Place the baking sheet into the oven for approximately 15 minutes on 400 degrees.
  8. For added texture, fry the patties to create a crust on the outside. Serve with your desired toppings. Enjoy!
