When I first started getting into makeup, Maybelline and Covergirl were some of my favorite brands! I absolutely love Maybelline’s foundation and mascaras. Covergirl’s eyeshadows were a staple for me as well. Please do not sleep on Milani because they always have had really nice highlighters and Iman has great powders for us brown girls. What I am getting at is that I am all for quality that doesn’t break the bank. Anyway, back to Maybelline Super Stay…

I was grocery shopping about two weeks ago and stopped by the beauty section for a box of Impress Press-On nails. I happened to gander at the makeup and took note of all of the releases that I missed last year. I missed a lotto Maybelline’s releases! If you watched me Pregnancy Journey video, then you already know why I missed so much. Anyway, I decided to pick out 8 shades of the Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink to swatch and review for you ladies.

I would like to add that the lighter Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink shades were the ones that would easily disturb when placed on the lips. The other shades were actually fine when disturbed (by pressing lips together). So, I honestly recommend the lighter shades to be used for an ombré lip.
